ADVANCED TEXTILE RESTORATION

Care that restores what cannot be recovered in place.

Treatment is performed beyond the home when condition, composition, or structural fatigue require a more controlled environment. This is where restoration extends beyond preservation and into correction.

Over time, textiles can experience discoloration, fiber breakdown, and loss of structural integrity that cannot be resolved without full intervention. The work is not surface-level. It is corrective, addressing material condition, restoring balance, and recovering the textile’s intended performance.

The result is a return of structure, clarity, and continuity, achieved without compromise to the textile or its construction.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Restoration defined by condition,
composition, and structural
textile requirements

Restoration defined by condition, composition, and structural textile requirements

01

FOUNDATION

Controlled Removal & Handling

Removal is performed in a controlled sequence to preserve pleats, headers, linings, and all construction details. Each panel is handled with precision to maintain its structure from dismount through transport.

Textiles are secured using protective methods appropriate to their weight, scale, and composition, preventing distortion, compression, or stress before restoration begins.

02

CORRECTION

Fiber Restoration & Condition Correction

Restoration is performed at the fiber level to address discoloration, odor retention, and material fatigue developed over time. Methods are selected based on the textile’s composition and current condition.

Each correction is calibrated to recover clarity and stability without compromising strength, texture, or finish, ensuring the material responds as intended.

03

STABILIZATION

Targeted Correction & Stabilization

Spot and stain correction is carried out using material-specific methods, with continuous monitoring of dye stability and moisture response throughout the process.

Each intervention is controlled to prevent shifting, bleeding, or weakening, ensuring the textile remains structurally stable during restoration.

04

STRUCTURE

Structural Recovery & Refinement

Conditioning and controlled steam refinement are applied to restore movement, definition, and visual consistency across the textile.

Fibers are encouraged to relax and realign, allowing the material to recover its intended structure, proportion, and presence within the installation.

05

FINALIZATION

Reinstallation & Final Calibration

Reinstallation is performed with exact alignment, ensuring proper fall, balance, and proportional consistency across all panels.

Final inspection and hand-finishing refine each detail, returning the textile to the space fully restored, structurally corrected, and visually composed.

The result is restored structure, clarity, and longevity, without the need for replacement.

Your Home Maintains A Standard. The Care It Receives Should Match It.

Care at this level is approached with intention. Each evaluation is conducted privately within your home, allowing the space and its materials to be understood before any work begins. If this is the standard you hold for your home, you may begin here.
