THE APPROACH

BUILT FROM SEVEN YEARS INSIDE HOMES WHERE THE INTERIOR ENVIRONMENT WAS NOT A PREFERENCE. IT WAS A DAILY HEALTH DECISION.

When the body is sensitive to its surroundings, the home is no longer a matter of design. It becomes a daily health decision. Our founder spent seven years inside that reality. Beginning as a Registered Behavior Technician, and later obtaining a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis, the work took place within homes of individuals and families navigating sensitivities. Some had restructured everything. Air quality monitored. Materials chosen with intention. Others were doing everything they could, yet missing one of the most significant contributors in the room. The drapery.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America identifies heavy drapery as one of the primary household elements requiring attention in allergen-sensitive environments. The Drapery Spa was built for homes where the standard of care extends beyond the surface.

Our Vision

A home that supports well-being at every level of sensitivity.

Our Method

Care guided by structure, material integrity, and how textiles perform within the home.

OUR APPROACH

A System Designed For How Interior Textiles Exist And Perform

01

TEXTILE EVALUATION

Each textile is assessed based on fabric type, construction, lining, weight, and how it is installed within the space. This determines not only what can be done, but what should be done to preserve structure and ensure long-term performance.

02

METHOD SELECTION

Some textiles are best treated in place to maintain alignment and avoid unnecessary stress. Others require controlled removal, based on what best protects the integrity of the material and its construction.

03

CONTROLLED EXECUTION

Whether in place or off-site, every step is managed to preserve form, weight distribution, and structural consistency. The objective is not only cleanliness, but the continued performance of the textile within the space.
THE TRANSFORMATION

What changes is not only what you see

What changes is not only what you see. Accumulation alters structure, weight and performance. As it is removed, the textile releases what it holds. Weight lifts. Form returns. The air shifts. The result is a space restored to its intended state.

EVALUATION

Begin With a Private In-Home Visit

Every project begins with a scheduled visit to your home. This allows each textile to be assessed within its actual environment, where factors such as placement, scale, and exposure can be properly considered.
